The BFC Education Foundation is a registered charity, and the scholarship scheme is funded by donations from Coach, Marks & Spencer, Net-a-porter and Eiesha Bharti Pasricha. The initiative funds both BA and MA scholarships, with fees for BA courses for U.K.-based students at 27,000 pounds, or $42,500, excluding living costs, and MA fees at around 9,500 pounds, or $14,900. The scholarship initiative is also supported by the British government with its employer ownership funding program, which allows employers to invest in the skills of a future work force.
Past recipients of the scholarships include Erdem Moralioglu, who won in 2002, and Aitor Throup, who won in 2004.
