Zoolander and Hansel walk for Valentino at Milan Fashion Week

Finally, someone who knows what they're actually doing on the catwalk: Derek Zoolander and Hansel, the proponents of the Blue Steel pose, have shown Milan how it's done with a guest appearance at the Valentino show.

The supermodels, who were immortalised in Ben Stiller's 2001 film, strode down the runway in what onlookers described as a walk-off.

 

Luckily for the famously immovable Derek "I'm not an ambiturner" Zoolander, the there were no left turns on the catwalk.

Their appearance on the catwalk was preceded by sedate classical music, before the Eighties hit Don't You Want Me by the Human League came on followed by the two modelling stars.

And in case there was any doubt of their right to be there, the two supers were given the ultimate accolade of meeting Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of American Vogue, backstage.

Zoolander and Hansel, and their alter egos Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, are filming Zoolander 2, in Rome. Their appearance delighted the many fashion insiders who had seen the film and treasured both its models, and the facial expressions it spawned. One thing's for sure: they're both so hot right now.
